I love my seafood, but I have always been leary about eating raw oysters. i just got this recipe in my e-mail and it looks pretty good. I think the hot sauce & the booze'll probably pickle & cook the oysters Ingredients:
lime wedge |
coarse sea salt |
1/2 cup tequila |
1 tbsp fresh lime juice |
1/4 tsp hot sauce |
1 tsp sugar |
6 raw oysters in a half shell |
Directions:
1. Run lime wedge around rim of 6 shooter glasses. 2. Place salt in small shallow dish. 3. Dip rim of glasses into salt to coat. 4. Combine tequila, juice, sauce and sugar in liquid measure. 5. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. 6. Place oysters into shot glasses, 7. pour in tequila mixture |
