Version using tequila instead of rum, but if you are a colada purist, feel free to use your favorite rum instead. Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces tequila |
3 tablespoons well-blended coconut cream |
1 ounce orange liqueur |
1 ounce pineapple juice |
1 ounce fresh lime juice |
toasted coconut (to garnish) (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a shaker half-full of ice, combine tequila, coconut cream, liqueur, and juices. 2. Shake well and strain into glass. 3. Sprinkle coconut on top. |
