Tequila Chili Marinated Pork Chops |

These chops are so moist and tender and melt in your mouth.Can use marinade on country spareribs,flank steak or butterflied leg of lamb also. Ingredients:
1 c chopped cilantro |
4 bone-in rib pork chops(1 thick) |
2 jalapeno chilies,minced |
1/4 c lime juice |
1/4 c vegetable or olive oil |
3 tbs tequila or water |
1 t grated lime peel |
1 tbs minced garlic |
1 tbs ground chipolte chili or chili powder |
1 tbs chopped fresh oregano or 1 tsp dried |
2 and 1/2 tsp salt |
1 and 1/2 tsp ground cumin |
1 tsp pepper |
1/2 tsp ground allspice |
Directions:
1. Place pork in large resealable bag. Combine all marinade ingredients in a small bowl;pour over pork. Refrigerate overnight,turning bag occasionally. 2. Heat grill.Remove pork from marinade,leaving as much marinade on as possible;discard remaining marinade. 3. Grill,covered over med. heat 7 to 10 mins,or till no longer pink in center,turning once. Place on serving platter,cover loosely with foil. Let stand 5 mins. |
