An interesting twist on the good old brownie! These are tasty buggers!! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided) |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 1/4 cups flour |
1 tablespoon tequila |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 eggs (lightly beaten) |
1 cup nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Grease a 9x13 pan. 2. Heat butter and one cup of chips in a 3 quart sauce pan over low heat , stirring constantly, until melted. 3. Stir in sugar, flour, tequila, baking powder, salt and eggs, until combined. 4. Spread mixture in the pan and sprinkle with remaining chips and nuts. 5. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until the center is set. 6. Cool completely before cutting into desired sized squares. 7. Store in an airtight container. |
