This recipe is from The Bistro At The Bijou Restaurant in Knoxville Tennessee. Ingredients:
1 9 unbaked pie shell |
1 1/2 cups pecans or 1 1/2 cups walnuts |
1/3 cup chocolate chips |
3 large eggs, beaten |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup melted butter |
1/2 cup dark corn syrup |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 ounces jack daniel whiskey |
Directions:
1. Place nuts and chocolate chips in the pie shell. 2. Blend eggs with sugar,then remaning ingredients. 3. Pour mixture into pie shell,and allow nuts to rise to the top of batter. 4. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
