Ingredients:
3 cups vinegar |
1 cup worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup dry mustard |
1 tablespoon salt |
10 bay leaves |
16 whole cloves |
1 teaspoon dried whole oregano |
1 teaspoon dried whole rosemary |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon red pepper |
5 cloves garlic |
1 lemon, quartered |
1 medium onion , quartered |
1/4 cup butter or margarine |
1/4 cup catsup |
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes . Strain basting sauce, discarding bay leaves, cloves, garlic, lemon, and onion. Use sauce to baste pork during barbecue procedure. |
