Horseradish mustard can be found on the condiment aisle at the grocery store. As an ingredient, marinade, or condiment, horseradish mustard offers a fiery hot yet sweet flavor. Serve it with leftover roast beef or as a spread on your favorite sandwich. Ingredients:
4 (4-ounce) beef tenderloin steaks (1 inch thick), trimmed |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
cooking spray |
1/2 cup low-salt beef broth |
2 tablespoons horseradish mustard |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle steaks evenly with salt and pepper. 2. Place a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add steaks, and cook 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Place steaks on a serving platter, and keep warm. 3. Add broth, mustard, and sugar to pan; cook over low heat 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly. Return steaks to pan, turning to coat with sauce. |
