This recipe is devine to say the least!!! This is a recipe that my family is always asking for, and how can I refuse when it's so easy to make and tastes great as well. Ingredients:
4 chicken breast halves |
1/4 cup flour |
1/2 tsp black pepper |
1 tbsp sesame oil |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar |
2 tbsp ketchup |
1 tbsp brown sugar |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1/2 tsp ginger root or 1/4 tsp ground ginger |
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes |
4 cups rice, cooked |
1/4 cup coriander, fresh chopped |
Directions:
1. Trim visible fat from chicken. Combine flour and pepper in resealable plastic bag. Add chicken; shake to coat with flour mixture. 2. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown about 2 minutes on each side. Place chicken in slow cooker. 3. Combine soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes in a small bowl; pour over chicken. Cook on LOW 5-6 hours. 4. Serve with rice and garnish with coriander, if desired. |
