Tempered Rice With Coriander Leaves |

A great way to make new dish of left-over rice! Ingredients:
2 cups left-over cooked rice |
2 tablespoons oil |
1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds |
1/4 teaspoon cumin seed |
7 -8 curry leaves |
2 green chilies |
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder |
salt |
1/2 cup coriander leaves |
2 tablespoons peanuts |
Directions:
1. De-stem the green chillies. 2. Chop finely. 3. Chop corriander leaves finely as well. 4. Heat oil in a pan. 5. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves. 6. Add chopped green chillies, turmeric powder and peanuts. 7. Saute well. 8. Add rice. 9. Season and miz well. 10. Serve hot garnished with chopped corriander leaves. |
