For all my Puerto Rican relatives and friends, this recipe will tantalize your taste buds and give you the wonderful flavor and creaminess of tembleque in a pinch. Coconut infused coffee and cinnamon delights when mixed with steamed milk. Ingredients:
1 shot brewed espresso |
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger coconut-flavored syrup (such as davinciĀ®) |
1/2 cup milk |
1 pinch ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Stir espresso and coconut syrup together in a mug. 2. Heat milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat until just beginning to boil, about 5 minutes; stir warm milk into espresso mixture. Sprinkle latte with cinnamon. |
