Teddybears Easy Honey and Walnut Cake |

Such an easy cake to make, perfect for Winnie the Pooh's birthday or teddybear's picnic. This makes a 7 inch/18cm cake but I 'm sure it can be easily doubled. Ingredients:
250 g self raising flour |
175 g margarine, softened (or butter) |
115 g caster sugar |
2 tablespoons clear honey, plus extra for drizzling |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 orange, zest of, grated |
50 g walnuts, chopped |
1 tablespoon milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 160C and grease and line an 18cm cake tin with baking paper. 2. Place all ingredients in a bowl and beat with electric beater until light and fluffy. 3. Turn into prepared cake tin and bake for about 45-60 minutes or intil firm to the touch and skewer comes out clean. 4. Cool in the cake tin for 10 minutes then turn on a wire rack to cool. 5. Drizzle with honey to serve. |
