This cocktail was invented by my former brother-in-law, Randall Brown, in 1984 who was at that time the bartender at Shawnee State Park Resort Lodge in Friendship, Ohio. This is a pleasant, sweet, dessert cocktail with a lot of eye appeal. Of course, Tecumseh was a Shawnee Indian leader of much renown, living in the Ohio Valley during the late 1700s, early 1800s. Ingredients:
5 ice cubes |
4 ounces orange juice, cold |
1 ounce amaretto |
1 ounce southern comfort |
1 ounce grenadine |
Directions:
1. In a 12-ounce glass, pour in the orange juice, amaretto, and Southern Comfort - stir. 2. Add the ice cubes. 3. Slowly pour in the grenadine (which will go to the bottom of the glass). Do not stir. Serve. |
