Andon House B&B, Waynesvlle, N.C. This was just to good not to put up and share. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1 3-ounce package cream cheese |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 stick margarine, softened |
blend as you would for pie crust. |
refrigerate for one hour. |
make 1-inch balls and place in small tart pan. |

2/3 cup sugar |
2/3 cup chopped nuts |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon melted butter |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Mix together and place in pastry with teaspoon. 2. Bake at 400 degrees for 14 minutes. 3. I may have done this wrong, but I used a muffin pan and I made an indent in the balls of dough and put the filling into the indent It said it was a filling. |
