This is from an old Pillsbury cookbook that is falling apart. I don't have the front cover and part of the pages are torn. So, I'm going to share these before the book is completely destroyed.
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
3 tbs butter
2 eggs
1 cake yeast
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
6 cups pillsbury's best
1/4 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Scald the milk and pour it over the sugar, butter and salt. When it has cooled to lukewarm, beat into it three cups flour, sifted three times. Then add the yeast, dissolved in the lukewarm water, cover and let it rise until it is a frothy mass. Then add the eggs, well-beaten, the flour and the cinnamon.
2. Place in a buttered bowl. Let it rise until it is twice its size. Form it then into small rolls, place them into a buttered pan, and let them rise until very light. Brush the tops with melted butter and bake in a hot oven for 15 minutes.
