From City Tavern in Philadelphia. The ancestor of this punch was the famous Philadelphia Fish House Punch. Originating in the 1750s in Philadelphia frequented by seafarers. It soon spread throughout Colonial Society. Ingredients:
2 ounces light rum |
2 ounces brandy |
1 ounce dark rum |
1/2 ounce apricot brandy |
1 1/2 ounces rose's lime juice |
1 ounce sugar |
6 ounces water |
Directions:
1. stir all ingredients and serve over ice. 2. garnish with lemon, lime and orange slices. |
