Simple, easy comfort food. This is a quick and classic recipe from my mother-in-law. Tastes just like tater tot hot dish should! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can corn, drained |
1/4 cup milk |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 (32 ounce) bag frozen tater tots |
pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Brown beef with onion. Drain fat. 3. Add corn. 4. Mix soup, milk, 2/3 cup of cheese and pepper. Add to beef. 5. Place in a glass dish to bake. 6. Top with tater tots and rest of cheese. 7. Bake covered for 45 minutes, uncover and bake additional 15 minutes. |
