TATER TOT CASSEROLE DATED 1966 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Tillman Estate in Fate, Texas in 1988. Ingredients:
4 cups tater tots |
1 pound browned grown beef |
10 ounce package chopped broccoli cooked |
1 can french fried onions |
1 can whole tomatoes drained |
1 can cream of celery soup |
1/3 cup milk |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Place potatoes on bottom of a rectangular pan. 2. Bake for 10 minutes at 400. 3. Combine beef, broccoli, 1/2 can of fried onions and tomatoes and pour over the tater tots. 4. Combine soup, milk, 1/2 cup cheese, and seasonings then pour over beef mixture. 5. Bake 20 minutes at 400 then top with remaining cheese and onions and bake 3 minutes longer. |
