This is a Paul Deen recipe out of her Sept 06 magazine... Im having a tea party in a couple weeks and Im thinking about serving these.... Ingredients:
1/2 box frozen phyllo dough, thawed (16 oz size) |
1/2 cup butter, melted (1 stick) |
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz size) |
2 cups confectioners sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1 cup miniature chocolate morsels |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Cut phyllo sheets into 3 1/2 inch squares; keep squares covered with a slightly damp towel. 3. Layer 4 phyllo squares, brushing each square with butter. 4. Fit squares into bottom and up sides of a mini muffin pan. 5. Repeat procedure with remaining squares and butter. 6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes; or until lightly browned; set aside to cool. 7. In a medium bowl, combine condensed milk and cream cheese; beat with an electric mixer until smooth. 8. Gradually beat in confectioners sugar until smooth. 9. Stir in vanilla. 10. Spoon mixture evenly into phyllo cups. 11. Top with chopped pecans and chocolate morsels. |
