Five-minute recipe for canned beans. I found this recipe in Southern Living. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
15 ounces garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained (1 can) |
1 garlic clove |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
3 tablespoons water |
2 tablespoons light sour cream |
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper |
Directions:
1. Process a can of garbanzo beans, with garlic clove, lemon juice, water, sour cream, and lemon pepper. 2. Serve in a pita with fresh veggie slices and feta cheese. |
