I am a pasta LOVER and was surprised at the creaminess of the sauce by using some of the pasta cooking water. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1 lb. penne pasta |
2 tsp. minced garlic |
salt and freshly, cracked black pepper, to taste |
2 tsp. dried oregano |
splash worchestershire sauce |
2 tbsp. olive oil |
1/4 lb. freshly grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Cook the pasta until it is al dente. Save 2 cups of the cooking water to the side and drain the pasta. 2. Cook garlic in olive oil until just golden. Toss the oil, garlic and parsley with the hot pasta. Gradually add the pasta cooking water to create a sauce. 3. Top with grated Parmesan cheese. |
