Lentil dish - try adding any kind of veggies you like - i chose carrot for this version. Ingredients:
1/4 cup lentils |
1 carrot |
1 slice onions |
1 tbsp flax oil |
1 tablespoon tomato paste |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1 clove garlic |
1/4 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cups water |
Directions:
1. Sort the lentils and soak for 30 minutes. 2. Rinse in running water and drain. 3. Peal and finely chop the onions. peal and mash the garlic. Heat the oil in large pan and saute the onion until golden. 4. Add tomato paste, and paprika and mix. 5. Add water and the garlic, ginger pepper and salt. 6. When the water boils, add the lentils & carrots,lower the flame and cook 20-30 minutes, until the lentils soften. Serve hot. |
