2 eggs
1 1/2 cup(s) mashed bananas(3-4 med.)
3 teaspoon(s) vanilla
3 cup(s) flour
1 teaspoon(s) baking oowder
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 cup(s) buttermilk
4 piece(s) ( 1 oz. ea) white baking chocolate melted and cooled
1 package(s) cream cheese softened
3/4 cup(s) butter softened
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
5 cup(s) confectioner's sugar
1/2 cup(s) finely chopped pecans
Directions:
1. CREAM CRISCO AND BUTTER UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. ADD EGGS,ONE AT A TIME,BEATING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION. ADD BANANAS AND VANILLA. COMBINE DRY INGREDIENTS. ADD TO BANANA MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH BUTTERMILK. BEAT WELL. FOLD IN CHOCOLATE. POUR INTO 3 GREASED AND FLOURED 9-IN. ROUND CAKE PANS.BAKE AT 350* FOR 25-30 MIN.COOL FOR 10 MIN. THEN REMOVE FROM PANS. FROSTING: BEAT CREAM CHEESE,BUTTER AND VANILLA UNTIL SMOOTH.GRADUALLY BEAT IN CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR. SPREAD BETWEEN LAYERS AND OVER TOP AND SIDES OF CAKE. SPRINKLE WITH PECANS. STORE IN REFRIGERATOR.
