I got this from a cooking show on the 3ABN channel on tv. It is simple and healthy and doesn't take long to make. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon unfermented soy sauce |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes (also known as brewer's yeaast) |
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 onion, chopped |
1 green pepper, chopped |
3 cups cooked beans |
2 cups loma linda brand veggie burgers (one can is 20 oz.) |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1/2 cup water |
1 tablespoon paprika |
Directions:
1. saute onion and green pepper in a small amount of vegetable broth or water until soft. Mix everything together in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes. |
