Great hors d'oeuvre. From Nancy Sheehy, Bucks County Auxiliary Board memeber and past president, given to her by her French brother in law. From a fundraiser cookbook. Ingredients:
1 pie crust, ready made |
3 ounces goat cheese |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme |
3/4 cup half-and-half |
1 egg |
1 egg yolk |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
Directions:
1. Spread the pie crust into a 12 inch tart pan. 2. Toss crumbled goat cheese with olive oil and thyme and set aside. 3. Mix the remaining ingredients together. 4. Add the cheese mixture. 5. Spread the completed mixture over the pie crust and bake for 35 minutes in a 375 degree oven. |
