This is the recipe from the Spices of the World Cookbook by McCormick , which I believe is out of print. It is better than any commercial brand I've ever tried. I find the commercial brands either too sweet or too sour.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons minced pickles (i think kosher baby dills work best)
2 teaspoons instant minced onion
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon capers, minced
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Refridgerate 1 hour to allow flavors to mingle.
