This is the recipe from the Spices of the World Cookbook by McCormick , which I believe is out of print. It is better than any commercial brand I've ever tried. I find the commercial brands either too sweet or too sour. Ingredients:
3/4 cup mayonnaise |
3 tablespoons minced pickles (i think kosher baby dills work best) |
2 teaspoons instant minced onion |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/4 teaspoon celery salt |
1 teaspoon capers, minced |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Refridgerate 1 hour to allow flavors to mingle. |
