the best recipe I've found for Tartar Sauce- from Saveur magazine. Ingredients:
3 cornichons or 3 gherkins |
1/2 lemon, juice of |
2 -3 teaspoons nonpareil capers |
1 teaspoon brine, from cornichons |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon brine, from capers |
salt & pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and chill for 1 to 2 hours before serving. |
