My Mother got this recipe from a restaurant in town that has been closed now for years. I make it each year when our church has a fish fry; that is, if I get to go, the last two I have missed. I normally make about a quart of it and, with about 25 people, there is never a drop left. If there should be some left someone always asks me for the leftovers. Ingredients:
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
3/4 cup miracle whip |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
2 teaspoons hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together. 2. Refrigerate. 3. Serve with your favorite seafood. 4. Truth be told on this recipe, I never measure a thing. I fix it by taste; some like more hot sauce and some like less. |
