Adapted from the American Diabetes Association. Sodium seemed a bit high so I cut the salt in half. boneless chicken breasts with skin, sprigs tarragon, salt, pepper, olive oil cvt Ingredients:
400 g roasted chicken breast with skin, per recipe, net from 4 fresh ( ounces) boneless chicken breasts with skin |
4 g (=4 sprigs ) fresh tarragon |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 tsp pepper |
1 tbsp olive oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Gently lift the skin of each chicken breast and place a sprig of tarragon underneath. Season each chicken breast with salt and pepper. 2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook each side until it is golden brown. 3. Remove the chicken breasts to a baking sheet. Place the breasts in the oven and cook for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken has reached an internal temp- erature of 165 degrees F. Remove the chicken from the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving. |
