I adopted this recipe from the Recipezaar account. I have not yet tried it out. If you do before me, please leave comments as to how it was. Ingredients:
1/2 lb taro root (starchy yam with a rough, brown skin, not the sweet, orange-colored type) |
1 1/4 lbs chicken |
2 tablespoons ginger |
1/2 cup scallion |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon soy sauce |
1 dash sugar |
1/2 teaspoon cooking wine |
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch |
1 teaspoon oil |
Directions:
1. Cut taro, chicken, and scallion into pieces (approx. 1 ). 2. Coat chicken evenly with (A) and let sit for 25 minutes. 3. Put everything on a plate and steam for 20 minutes at high heat. |
