Tangy Spicy No-Tomato BBQ Sauce |

This is a vinegar based sauce that came from a friend of my fathers. It freezes very well and is great on any barbequed meat. This is his recipe but i always leave the butter out just to save calories. This will seperate so make sure you mix it well. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup water |
1 cup apple cider vinegar |
3 tablespoons brown mustard |
1 tablespoon kosher salt |
2 tablespoons chili powder |
1 tablespoon cayenne (if thats too spicy, just use 3 tablespoons chili powder) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a saucepan. 2. Add all other ingredients and stir over heat until smooth. 3. Let sauce simmer and reduce for 15 minutes. |
