TANGY MEATBALLS AND KRAUT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Delaney Estate in Waco, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
1 small white onion chopped |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
15 ounce can tomato sauce |
15 ounce sauerkraut with juice |
24 cooked meatballs |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan stir together onion, brown sugar, tomato sauce and sauerkraut. 2. Add meatballs and simmer covered for 20 minutes. |
