For a quick and easy supper. I tend to serve this with minted peas or beans and stewed apples or applesauce. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground lamb |
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel |
1 tablespoon chopped parsley |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon crushed bay leaf |
1/8 teaspoon crushed rosemary |
1/2 cup white wine or 1/2 cup chicken broth |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, mix together the lamb through the rosemary until well blended. 2. Shape into small patties. 3. In a large skillet, heat wine over medium heat and cook patties, turning occasionally, about 15 minutes for medium or 20 minutes for well-done. |
