1/2 cup celery |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 cup tomato juice |
1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes |
12 ounces whole kernel corn, drained |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 teaspoon onion powder |
1 dash hot pepper sauce |
Directions:
1. Sauté celery in butter. 2. Blend in flour. 3. Gradually add tomato juice; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. 4. Stir in remaining ingredients. 5. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 6. Sprinkle with additional cheese, if desired. |
