Tart tangerine brings a palate-cleansing twist to the dessert course. Serve this to guests after a hearty main dish and before coffee. Ingredients:
2 cups fresh tangerine juice (about 6 large tangerines) |
3/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons grand marnier |
Directions:
1. Combine juice, sugar, and Grand Marnier. Let stand 30 minutes, stirring often. Pour mixture into an 8-inch square baking pan. Freeze 2 hours or until firm, stirring after 1 hour. Remove mixture from freezer; scrape entire mixture with a fork until fluffy. |
