Indian flatbread recipe by Anjum Anand Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour |
2 tsp sugar |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 tsp canola oil |
1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 cup skim milk |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients to form a supple dough 2. Cover with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 1-2 hours 3. Divide into 4 equal parts 4. Roll out in an oval form 5. Preheat oven to Broil 6. Place on a pizza stone and bake for 1 min 30 secs 7. Flip over and bake another 30 secs |
