Baby potatoes tossed with a spicy mixture to make a great cocktail snack. I got this one from one of my old cookbooks and made this to celebrate the end of my board exams.Trust me.....it was worth the celebration. Ingredients:
1 cup baby potatoes |
1 tablespoon cream |
1/4 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) |
1 tablespoon oil |
salt |
4 kashmiri chilies |
2 cloves garlic |
1/2 inch ginger |
2 teaspoons coriander-cumin powder (dhania-jeera) |
Directions:
1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly,pierce them with a fork and place them all around the microwave turntable. 2. Place a glass of water in the centre to prevent the potatoes from getting wrinkled. 3. Microwave on HIGH for 5 to 6 minutes until potatoes are soft. 4. Heat oil in a glass bowl for about 1 minute,add the prepared paste and salt and mix well. 5. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. 6. Add the potatoes, cream, kasuri methi and microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. 7. Serve hot. |
