Tangy, yummy recipe from .. I made quite a few changes of my own. The original recipe doesn't call for marination and I have added the Worcestershire sauce and cumin Ingredients:
2 tbsp tamarind concentrate |
2 tbsp brown sugar |
2 tbsp fish sauce/ soy sauce |
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger |
1 tsp ground cumin |
1 tsp sherry |
1 1/2 lbs chicken wings |
salt & pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together except for the chicken wings. Whisk. 2. Add chicken wings to a ziploc bag. Add marinade. Close bag and mix in the chicken wings with the marinade. Keep in the fridge overnight (or for at least a couple of hours). 3. Remove the chicken wings, drain any excess marinade. Sauté over medium low heat for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally until the wings are tender and sticky on the outside. |
