This is another favorite agua fresca drink of mine. The tamarind has a sweet and sour kind of taste to it. The tamarind concentrate can be found in most Mexican or Asian markets.
Ingredients:
6 cups water
1/3 cups sugar
1/3 cup tamarind concentrate (3oz)
ice
lime slices
orange slices
Directions:
1. In pitcher combine water, sugar, and tamarind concentrate. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
2. In ice filled glass garnish with lime and orange slices.
