Ingredients:
3 cup(s) 3 cups small white beans (previously soaked) |
1 tablespoon(s) salt |
1/4 cup(s) chopped onion (optional) |
1 1/2 cup(s) brown sugar |
1 tablespoon(s) mustard |
1/4 cup(s) ketchup |
1 cup(s) molasses |
2 tablespoon(s) crushed garlic |
1 tablespoon(s) red pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. * Bring beans to a boil. Boil beans approx. 1 hr. or until tender, but not mushy. 2. * Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl. 3. * Add brown sugar mixture and enough water so beans are covered with at least 1 inch of liquid 4. * Cover and Bake at 220F at least 8 hours. 5. * Check periodically to be sure there is enough liquid. If dry, stir in more water. |
