We were at a TCU tailgate party and were served this yummy dessert. Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter (not margarine) |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
6 -8 bananas, sliced |
1/2 cup banana liqueur |
1 gallon vanilla ice cream (blue bell homemade vanilla) |
Directions:
1. Melt sugar with butter in a large heavy skillet. Add cinnamon, bananas and liqueur. Coat bananas well with butter-sugar mixture but do not overcook. If mixture is too thin, add more bananas; if too thick, add more liqueur. Serve over vanilla ice cream. |
