Tofu with a light sesame, garlic, and whole wheat batter that can be baked or fried. Great results with little to no oil. My husband likes this recipe. Ingredients:
4 tablespoons tahini |
1/3 cup whole wheat flour |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
2 teaspoons egg white |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1 cup water |
1 (16 ounce) package firm tofu, cubed |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a shallow baking dish with cooking spray. 2. Mix together the tahini, wheat flour, garlic, egg white, soy sauce, and water in a large bowl. Toss in the tofu, and mix so the tofu is coated. Arrange tofu in prepared baking dish. 3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in preheated oven. |
