Tagliatelle a La Hudson - Lemon Cream Pasta

Lemony creamy pasta dish
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
8 ounces tagliatelle pasta noodles or 8 ounces fettuccine
1 cup whipping cream, heated
1/3 lb prosciutto, cut into strips
3/4 cup fresh-grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. In a small bow, combine the lemon peel and softened butter; set aside. Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water just until tender; drain.
2. Transfer the pasta to a warm serving bowl. Add the lemon butter and warm cream. Toss gently to coat. Add the prosciutto. Serve pasta sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
