One glass of wine too many and here's what happens...a house of guests got this one....AND LOVED IT!! Ingredients:
1-20 ounce roll of refrigerated sugar cookie dough |
1/4 cup of flour |
2-3 ounce packages of cream cheese, softeneed |
1/3 cup smooth peanut butter (i used peter pan) |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 apple, cored, peeled, and thinly sliced |
butter...can never figure exactly how much |
1 lemon...for juice |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 cup caramel topping |
1/2 cup chopped peanuts |
Directions:
1. CRUST 2. In a large bowl, knead together cookie dough and flour. 3. Place dough in a greased pizza pan. (12-13 ) 4. Press from center to edge to form a crust 5. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes. 6. COOL 7. APPLE: 8. In sauce pan, add butter and apple until softened. 9. TOPPING 10. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, peanut butter, brown sugar and vanilla. 11. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed unitl well blended. 12. Spread onto cooled crust. 13. BEFORE SERVING... 14. Arrange apples atop peanut butter mixture. 15. Sprinke with cinnamon 16. Drizzle with caramel topping 17. Sprinkle with peanuts. 18. Cut into wedges. |
