Easy leftovers can be easily frozen and reheated a real chill chaser for the upcoming cold winter nights. Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef |
1 large onion chopped |
1 4.5 oz can chopped green chilies |
1 14 oz can corn |
2 14 oz cans pinto beans |
3 14 oz cans diced tomatoes |
1 1.25 oz package taco seasoning mix |
1 1.25 oz package dry ranch style dressing mix |
2 and 1/2 cups water |
if you prefer it really spicy 2 hot peppers of your choice chopped |
Directions:
1. Brown the gound beef and onion together in a large soup pot 2. drain the grease well and return to the soup pot 3. add all the other ingredients and mix well 4. bring to a gentle boil over medium to high heat 5. reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes 6. terrific with a nice crusty garlicky bread and salad |
