Warm, hearty taco soup. All your favorite flavors in a nice soup on a cold night! Even better tasting the next day! Freezes well also.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (ground turkey is more tender)
1 small onion
1 tsp pepper
3 4 oz cans chopped green chilies
1 15 oz can pinto beans
2 15 oz can chili beans
1 15 oz can light kidney beans - drained and rinsed
1 15 oz can navy beans or white beans
3 14 oz cans tomatoes - diced
1 pkg taco seasoning (1 oz)
1 pkg ranch dressing (1 oz)
1 1/2 cups water
Directions:
1. Brown beef and onion in large kettle. Drain off fat. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce head and simmer 30 min. Top each bowl with shredded cheese and serve with tortilla chips! 2. This is SO good. Freezes well if put in small Tupperware!
