This is simple and delicious! It's great for a weeknight dinner. Recipe is from Kraft. Ingredients:
1 lb extra lean ground beef |
1 onion, chopped |
3 (15 1/2 ounce) cans mild chili beans, undrained |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained |
1 (14 1/4 ounce) can corn, undrained |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Brown beef with onions in large saucepan; drain fat. 2. Add all remaining ingredients except cheese; stir, breaking up tomatoes. 3. Bring to a boil. 4. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5. Serve topped with cheese. 6. You could also serve with sour cream, if desired. |
