Used for Ground Beef and for Chicken/Turkey as well. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons chili powder |
5 teaspoons paprika |
4 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin |
3 teaspoons onion powder |
3 teaspoons salt or 3 teaspoons seasoned salt |
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 lb ground beef or 1 lb chicken |
2/3-3/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and store in airtight container in cool dry place for up to 6 months. This recipe will make approximately 3 batches of tacos. 2. Cook beef over medium heat till no longer pink and then drain. 3. Add water, and 1/2 cup of seasoning mix. Bring to a boil. 4. Reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes uncovered. |
