A new twist to dinner-and kids can help! Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
2 (1 1/4 ounce) envelopes taco seasoning |
4 eggs |
3/4 cup milk |
1 1/4 cups baking biscuit mix (like bisquick) |
1 dash pepper |
1/2 cup sour cream |
2 1/2 cups chopped lettuce |
3/4 cup chopped tomato |
1/4 cup chopped green pepper |
1/4 cup chopped green onion |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
1 (4 ounce) can black olives (optional) |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in a skillet; drain. 2. Add taco seasoning and prepare according to the package directions. 3. Spoon mixture into greased glass 13x9x2-inch baking dish. 4. In a bowl, beast eggs and milk. 5. Add biscuit mix and pepper; mix well. 6. Pour over meat. 7. Bake, uncovered, at 400°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. 8. Cool for 5-10 minutes. 9. Spread sour cream on top, sprinkle with lettuce, tomato, pepper, onions, black olives and cheese. 10. Also you may want to serve with fresh salsa on the side. |
