My boyfriend was sick when I created this dish. He wanted something soup-y. I usually make a simple broth based soup with mini penne with basil and oregano, but I didn't have penne so i decided to do broken spaghetti. My boyfriend suggested I throw in the leftover taco meat from last night too. Oh my, it was delicious!!! A must try!! Ingredients:
3 cups beef broth |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 cup taco meat, leftovers |
1/4 lb spaghetti, broken up |
2 teaspoons oregano |
1/2 tablespoon basil |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine beef broth and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. 2. Add in taco meat and broken spaghetti, cook about 5 minutes. 3. Add all the spices and stir until noodles are done cooking. |
