This is really a Taco tasting Meatloaf with all the ingredients from a Taco. Instead of it being messy while eating, it is all together in one easy to eat combination. And tastes just as good. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 small diced onion |
1 large diced tomato |
1 package taco shell, thoroughly crushed (12 count) |
1 cup shredded lettuce |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
sour cream |
1 teaspoon oregano |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 tablespoon chili powder (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. In large bowl mix onion, tomato, taco shells, cheese, oregano, cumin, salt, garlic, chili powder. 3. Mix in hamburger and incorporate all ingredients, but don't over mix or when it is cooked, it will be tough. 4. Cook in bread loaf pan for approx 45-55 minutes. 5. or cook in square baking pan(8x8x2) for approx 30-35 minutes. 6. Remove from oven. 7. Place on serving dish and sprinkle with lettuce and dallop of sour cream and enjoy. |
